Collecting Students Work
Student work is not to be collected by me or anyone else, instead work will be placed into a bin in front of the classroom by the student. When they do this they MUST be sure that their name is on their work and that it is placed in the "Turn in Work Bin."
Grading Policies
· Grading will be based on a point system. For example, if there are 10 questions on a quiz and a student gets 8 of them correct the score on the top of their quiz will say 8/10. The top number represents the number they answered correctly and the bottom number is the total number of questions.
· ** When it comes to certain assignments, especially projects and papers, a rubric will be used to present clear expectations of students work.
· ** For overall averages on report cards the percentages will be broken down by the following:
40% - Tests/Projects
30% - Quizzes
20% - Classwork
10% - Homework
· ** Homework: Assignments will be given two or three times a week and will vary in length and tasks.
